Open Letter: To Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra, the man who turned the breath over to grassroots and Thai farmers.

Dear Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra, who respects love.
In the name of the farmers and democracy-loving brothers and sisters, I send you through this letter of remembrance and goodwill. Even when you are under the walls of Canal Prem Prison, the virtues and contributions you have made to the land of Thailand continue to blossom and be deeply rooted in the hearts of the poor throughout the country.
He is a unique leader in "seeing" the impersonal people in Thai society. He not only runs the country from a high-rise, stargazing eyes on the ground, his slogan, but he brings down the policy to Khanna and the lid of Thai farmers. The policy he initiated has become a living legend:
Project 30 Baht to Treat All Diseases: That saves grassroots people from selling fields to save their lives. Equality human dignity in times of illness.

For us farmers, you are the "favorite of the grassroots," who speak the same language as us, understand the difficulty of the sky and dare to challenge the old power structure to bring the budget back to the local area. You have proved that the administration of a people-centered country can actually change the fortunes of millions.
Today, although you face injustice and restrictions on your freedom, rest assured that the power of love and faith that your brothers and sisters have for you has never diminished, we will continue to remember the name of "Thaksin Shinawatra" as the hopeful prime minister and the last refuge of the poor.
I and my brothers and sisters ask Arathana Phra Sri Ratchai and the sacred things in the world. Please protect you with healthy health, strong encouragement and fairness in the early days. To return to Thailand and make the people happy immediately.

ย้อนไปในช่วงเวลาที่ประเทศกำลังเผชิญความเปลี่ยนแปลง ดร.ทักษิณ ชินวัตรกลายเป็นผู้นำที่สร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับคนทั่วประเทศ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งประชาชนชนบทและเกษตรกรที่ครั้งหนึ่งเคยถูกละเลยจากนโยบายของรัฐ หลายปีที่ผ่านมานโยบายต่าง ๆ ที่ท่านริเริ่ม เช่น โครงการ ๓๐ บาทรักษาทุกโรค ที่มุ่งช่วยเหลือให้ทุกคนเข้าถึงการรักษาพยาบาลอย่างเท่าเทียม และกองทุนหมู่บ้านที่สนับสนุนทุนหมุนเวียนในชุมชน กลายเป็นสิ่งที่เกษตรกรหลายครอบครัวพึ่งพิงได้อย่างแท้จริง จากประสบการณ์ของผู้ที่อยู่ในชุมชนเกษตร ท่านทักษิณไม่ใช่แค่ผู้บริหารบนตึกสูง แต่เป็นผู้ที่เข้าใจเสียงสะท้อนจากใจชาวนา ชาวสวน และผู้ที่ทำงานหนักทุกวันเพื่อเลี้ยงครอบครัว การบริหารที่เอื้อให้ประชาชนมีส่วนร่วมและจัดสรรทรัพยากรในท้องถิ่น กลายเป็นจุดเปลี่ยนสำคัญที่ทำให้หลายชีวิตลืมตาอ้าปากได้อย่างยั่งยืน แม้ในวันนี้ท่านจะไม่ได้อยู่เคียงข้างประชาชนด้วยสภาพเสรีภาพที่จำกัดภายในเรือนจำกลางคลองเปรม แต่ความผูกพันของประชาชนกับผลงานและแนวคิดของท่านยังเติบโตและผลิดอกออกผล ชุมชนหลายแห่งยังคงเดินตามแนวทางที่ท่านวางไว้ เพื่อสร้างความเข้มแข็งด้านเศรษฐกิจและสังคมที่ยั่งยืน นอกจากเรื่องนโยบายอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมแล้ว สิ่งที่ประชาชนให้ความเคารพและจดจำท่านคือความกล้าหาญในการท้าทายโครงสร้างอำนาจเดิม และการที่ท่านยืนหยัดนำงบประมาณกระจายสู่ท้องถิ่น เพื่อให้ชาวบ้านได้มีโอกาสพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตอย่างแท้จริง ส่วนตัวเคยเห็นผลกระทบของนโยบายนี้จนเกิดความศรัทธาว่า "การเมืองที่ใส่ใจประชาชนจริง ๆ นั้นสามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงสังคมได้" ซึ่งเป็นแรงผลักดันให้คนรุ่นใหม่หลายคนลุกขึ้นมามีส่วนร่วมในสังคม สุดท้ายนี้ ขอเป็นกำลังใจและส่งพลังดี ๆ ไปถึงท่าน ดร.ทักษิณ ให้ผ่านช่วงเวลาที่ยากลำบากนี้ด้วยสุขภาพที่ดี และขอให้ความหวังของพี่น้องคนไทยที่เชื่อมั่นในตัวท่านได้บรรลุผลในเร็ววัน เพราะว่าประชาชนจำนวนมากยังคงพึ่งพิงในไอเดียและความพยายามของท่านเพื่อวันข้างหน้าที่ดีกว่า
