A New Democracy: Reform to a Semi-Presidential System 🇹🇭
A crisis of confidence and an outdated administration is why Thailand must reform to a "new democracy" to restore real power and legitimacy to its people.

PRESIDENT: The executive leader, from a direct election by the people, has the highest legitimacy.
Prime Minister: Coming from a majority of the Council, the Council serves the common administration of the civil service.
The King: Head of State and Embodiment of Mind, Symbol of Unity and Continuity, without Relating to Administrative Politics, Transcending Political Conflict (Japanese Emperor Model)
Why this system?
To decentralize, reduce bureaucratic monopolies, increase transparency and maximize efficiency, maintaining the stability of core institutions.
This is the world's new democratic model.
That completely fused people's power, parliament and the monarchy.

จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวในการติดตามสถานการณ์การเมืองไทย ผมเห็นว่าแนวคิดประชาธิปไตยใหม่ที่เสนอระบบกึ่งประธานาธิบดีนั้นสามารถตอบโจทย์ปัญหาวิกฤตความเชื่อมั่นในระบบการเมืองปัจจุบันได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ระบบนี้ทำให้ประชาชนมีส่วนร่วมเลือกตั้งประธานาธิบดีโดยตรง ซึ่งช่วยเพิ่มความชอบธรรมให้กับผู้นำสูงสุด และลดการผูกขาดอำนาจที่เกิดจากระบบนายกรัฐมนตรีเพียงอย่างเดียว อีกทั้งยังเป็นการรักษาบทบาทของพระมหากษัตริย์ในฐานะประมุขรัฐและศูนย์รวมจิตใจโดยไม่เข้าไปยุ่งเกี่ยวกับการเมือง ทำให้มีความมั่นคงและเป็นกลาง การกระจายอำนาจในระบบนี้ช่วยลดปัญหาความล้าสมัยและระบบราชการที่ผูกขาดอำนาจอย่างเข้มข้น ส่งเสริมความโปร่งใสและการตรวจสอบได้ง่ายขึ้น เมื่อมีการแบ่งบทบาทกันชัดเจนระหว่างประธานาธิบดีที่เป็นผู้บริหารสูงสุดและนายกรัฐมนตรีที่ทำหน้าที่บริหารงานตามเสียงข้างมากของสภาฯ ทำให้ระบบการเมืองมีความสมดุลและมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น จากความเห็นส่วนตัว ผมมองว่าแนวทางนี้สามารถช่วยให้ประชาธิปไตยไทยพัฒนาไปสู่ยุคใหม่ที่เหมาะสมกับสภาพสังคมและความคาดหวังของประชาชนยุคปัจจุบัน โดยมีความเป็นไปได้ที่จะลดความขัดแย้งทางการเมืองและสร้างความเชื่อมั่นในระบบการปกครองได้มากขึ้น ดังนั้น "ประชาธิปไตยใหม่" ไม่ควรเป็นเพียงคำสวยหรูที่ไร้ความหมาย หากแต่ควรถูกนำมาปฏิบัติจริง เพื่อคืนอำนาจและความชอบธรรมที่แท้จริงให้กับประชาชนไทยทุกคน
