hi zesties🍋🍋 and happy lunar new year! like many, I enjoy taking pictures of my cny outfits, and I’ve received many compliments from friends for my ootd photo locations over the past few years as it stands out from the usual hdb pics on their ig feed! I thought it’ll be nice to share the places to look out for to spice up your cny ootd game:

1️⃣ carpark
if you can withstand the heat and the fumes, the industrial look of the carpark parking lot might be for you! I sat on the floor or squatted to make my poses look slightly more 3D💃🏻💃🏻
2️⃣ anywhere with trees + a nice path!!
idk why this one seems so basic yet so hard to find HAHAHAH having a relative that lives in an estate with such a nice landscape feels like pulling a 5 star in gacha⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I love hdb estates like this bc I don’t have to think too hard about how to make my photos look interesting.
3️⃣ normal wall… but with shadows LOL
LOOK, I know I said that these are recommendations different from the plain HDB wall, but I think this one deserves a special mention for the lighting🤩 I took this picture at sunset, so keep your eyes peeled for any nice shadows in the area
