If you just missed Mercury Fest, or just want to avoid our notorious crazy crowds at creative markets in sg (hashtag sgpride), here’s something for YOU🫵🏻 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, a new lifestyle concept consignment store, is opening tomorrow with an exciting launch party🎉
True to its name, 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, indeed has a WIDE variety of goods like stainless steel jewellery, polymer clay keychains, pottery, trinkets, curated clothes pieces, leather journals, perfumes, cute stickers, and a WHOLE LOT of other knick knacks for you to explore📓💐. This month’s line up features many local and international artists / creatives (some which were JUST at Mercury Fest), and what caught my eye when I visited was the wide array of unique and artsy products that would make good gifts for my friends!🎁
One thing that stood out to me was the centrepiece of the store — a carefully selected exhibit of goods from each artist this month, all displayed in the middle of the store where it really catches your attention👁️👁️ Unlike other consignment stores that cram many artists in an already small store, 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 seems to feel more like an art museum with its spacious interior. I also really liked the addition of both a large mirror and a CHANGING ROOM? in the store especially for customers interested in trying on clothes! I haven’t seen many consignment stores with a clothing section with a changing room, so this definitely stood out to me😩 bonus points because there were many hooks for you to hang more clothes!
