Hey fellow Warzone players! I wanted to share some thoughts and strategies on one of my favorite (and sometimes most frustrating!) drop spots: Control Center. It's truly a high-risk, high-reward location, and I've had some epic wins and brutal eliminations here. If you're tired of seeing 'ELIMINATED:' pop up too often after landing here, hopefully, these tips will help you turn the tide and start racking up 'Contract Complete' and 'Enemy Downed' alerts! First off, why land at Control Center? Simple: it’s a hotbed for action, high-tier loot, and crucially, contracts. Getting a contract completed early can set you up for a great game. When dropping in, I usually aim for the main building's roof or one of the surrounding smaller structures. Landing on the roof gives you an immediate height advantage and a clear view of incoming enemies, which is essential for getting those first 'Enemy Downed' notifications. If it's too contested, the smaller buildings on the perimeter offer safer initial looting and a chance to gather some basic gear before pushing the main fight. Remember, communication is key if you're with a squad – call out enemy positions and prioritize getting everyone armed. Once inside, focus on securing a good weapon quickly. An assault rifle (AR) like the M4 or Kilo is always a solid choice for the medium-to-close-range fights you'll encounter here, but a close-quarters SMG can also be devastating. Control Center has multiple floors and interconnected rooms, making sound crucial. Listen for footsteps, parachutes, and enemy call-outs. Don't push recklessly; try to get the first shot. I've often found success by holding a power position near a stairwell or a doorway, waiting for enemies to funnel into my line of sight. The central area on the ground floor can be chaotic, so sometimes playing the edges and picking off stragglers is a better approach than diving straight into the fray. Getting multiple 'Enemy Downed' notifications in quick succession feels amazing here! Contracts are your best friend. Supply Run contracts are great for quickly getting a loadout, but Bounty contracts at Control Center can be tricky due to the high player count – you might become the bounty yourself! If a 'Fire Sale' event kicks off, prioritize getting to a Buy Station immediately, as it's the perfect time to grab your loadout, self-revive kits, or revive teammates without spending a fortune. Be mindful of the 'NEW SAFE ZONE IDENTIFIED!' alerts; Control Center can often be on the edge or even outside the first few circles, so keep an eye on the map and plan your exit route carefully. Exiting Control Center can be just as dangerous as landing there. Often, enemies will be waiting outside, keen to catch players rotating. I try to leave through less obvious exits or use vehicles if available for a 'Hot Swap' out of the immediate area. Always check your surroundings before stepping out into the open, using tactical sprint and cover. The key to mastering Control Center isn't just winning gunfights; it's about smart decision-making, knowing when to engage, when to disengage, and leveraging the environment. It's a challenging spot, but incredibly rewarding when you pull off a win. Keep practicing, and you'll be dominating this POI in no time!
