Following Christ = Divisions??

✝️Some families do not see eye to eye, meaning in most cases they do not follow the same religion. Some try to follow what Jesus Christ has commanded, and others follow other idols and try to please them.

✝️When us Christian’s open our eyes we see the difference, we see the evil of the evildoers, and we separate ourselves from that evil. It’s sad to say sometimes that evil is within your own family.

✝️Within the same blood they wish your downfall, with the same blood they curse you, and with the same blood they love you, how can that be brothers and sisters??

✝️Following the ways of the Lord will cause people to hate you as he said in Matthew 10:22, and in 2 Timothy 3:12.

✝️When we read Gods word, our life slowly changes, God changes our life at his timing, and most family members don’t like/understand the change of heart, they don’t understand why we want to change our life and follow the ways of Christ, which causes divisions in many ways, we live one way, they live the other and when we don’t live their way or meet their needs/expectations, then the division begins…

... Read moreIn today's world, many families experience divisions influenced by faith and personal beliefs. Believers in Christ often encounter challenges, especially when their newfound faith diverges from their family’s traditional beliefs. Following Jesus sometimes results in estrangement or misunderstanding, as noted in Matthew 10:22 and 2 Timothy 3:12, where it emphasizes that believers may be hated for their commitment to God. The journey of transformation in faith can be met with resistance from family members who may not comprehend the changes occurring in a believer’s life. This discrepancy can lead to emotional distance, creating an atmosphere of tension and division. Those stepping into a relationship with Christ may find themselves alienated from loved ones who do not share or respect their new values and lifestyle choices. Furthermore, it’s vital for Christian individuals to remain steadfast in their faith while navigating familial relationships. Open dialogue grounded in love and understanding can serve as a bridge to reconcile differences and foster mutual respect. Ultimately, while the path may feel lonely at times, pursuing a life aligned with Christ holds profound rewards and purpose, reinforcing the importance of faith within believers' lives. Encouragement can be drawn from community support through church groups or online forums such as #believersofchrist, #christiansisterhood, and others that provide fellowship and understanding among like-minded individuals. Staying connected with fellow believers can help reinforce one’s faith amidst familial challenges.
