Move on, pls 🙏🏽
Moving on from a past relationship can be incredibly challenging, especially when feelings of betrayal or jealousy linger. From personal experience, recognizing that when someone can't have you, their negative actions towards your new relationships often stem from their own hurt and insecurity is vital to starting the healing process. One key strategy I found helpful is setting clear emotional boundaries. Allow yourself time to grieve but avoid dwelling on the negativity or trying to justify the other person’s behavior. Instead, focus on activities that nurture your self-worth—whether it’s spending time with supportive friends, pursuing hobbies, or practicing mindfulness. It’s also important to understand how toxic dynamics function. Manipulative behavior often aims to control or destabilize your happiness by attacking what matters to you. Being aware of this pattern helps to depersonalize their actions and reduce emotional impact. During my healing journey, I learned that moving on is not about forgetting the past but reclaiming your power over it. Affirmations like “I deserve peace” and “My worth is not defined by others’ opinions” can reinforce positive self-talk. Finally, remember that healing is not linear. Some days will feel harder than others, but each step forward is progress. Surround yourself with positivity and focus on your growth—and soon enough, moving on will feel less like a struggle and more like a fresh start.
