Okay, so I totally get where you're coming from. There’s nothing more frustrating in Apex Legends than when a match goes south, not because of the enemy, but because of your own squad. I’ve had countless games where someone drops solo, gets eliminated early in 'ROUND 2 - CLOSING' before we even get a chance to push, and then immediately disconnects or starts spamming pings. It’s infuriating when you’re trying to earn those 'NEXT EVO' points and build up your shield, but your team is already down one or two players. These aren't just minor annoyances; these player-induced 'gamebreaking issues' genuinely affect the entire player experience. It’s not just about losing the match; it’s about the feeling of wasted time and effort. When a teammate is constantly switching legends mid-match, like playing 'musical characters,' it often means they haven’t committed to a strategy or are just experimenting in ranked, which impacts the whole team’s synergy. You might pick a legend to complement a specific team composition, only for a teammate to switch last second, completely throwing off your strategy. And don't even get me started on the comms! Hearing someone boast, as the screenshot shows, 'I'm better than u' right after they made a questionable push and got knocked is just... chef's kiss for tilting. The impact goes beyond just losing RP; it drains your motivation, makes you feel like you can't rely on anyone, and can even push you away from the game entirely. I've definitely logged off more than once feeling completely deflated because of these interactions. When you invest time and effort into a game, you expect a certain level of teamwork and respect, and when that's consistently absent, it feels like the game itself is broken. So, what can we do when these 'gamebreaking issues,' especially those stemming from player behavior, start to take their toll? I've found a few things that help me keep my sanity. First, try to find a consistent squad, even if it's just one reliable friend. Communication and trust make a massive difference. If you're solo queuing, sometimes muting teammates who are being excessively toxic is the best move – you don't need that negativity distracting you. Focus on your own gameplay and improvement; sometimes carrying your weight and making smart rotations is all you can do. Remember that not every game will be perfect, and some losses are just unavoidable when dealing with randoms. Taking a break when frustration builds up is also key. It's a game, after all, and it should be fun, not a source of constant stress. Reporting genuinely problematic players helps the community in the long run, even if you don't see immediate results. Ultimately, while Apex has its share of technical glitches and server hiccups, I think a huge part of the 'gamebreaking issues' people complain about really boils down to player conduct and teamwork (or lack thereof). Learning to manage those expectations and finding ways to enjoy the game despite the occasional bad apple is a constant battle for us all.
