💡 Highlight Key Point Method

1️⃣ Keyword dashes do not dash the entire sentence.

❌ whole line = striped

✅.

Name of person / place

Year / figure / percentage

Specific words (academic terms, theoretical names)

2️⃣ Noun & Verb Dash Important First

Question reading time → Scan for words that are "heart"

Such as

Cause / effect

Increase / decrease

Solution / problem

Dash = come back to the answer very quickly. ⚡

3️⃣ word that is often a trap = must be dashed!

IELTS likes to use words like this to fool us. 😵‍💫

Such as

However, although, relatively

Not only... but also.

These words often "change the direction of meaning." ❗

4️⃣ Highlight when reading the first round only.

First round read = dash

Question cycle = Use Highlight as a map 🗺️

👉 Do not reread the entire chapter. Waste of time!
