จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว การทำความเข้าใจคำศัพท์ที่มีราก Ex- เช่น expire ไม่ใช่แค่รู้ความหมาย "หมดอายุ" แต่ต้องฝึกใช้ในประโยคจริงเพื่อให้เกิดความคุ้นเคย เช่น "My passport will expire next month." นอกจากนี้ คำอื่นๆ เช่น expensive (แพง), experiment (การทดลอง), expand (ขยาย), exchange (แลกเปลี่ยน) ก็ใช้บ่อยทั้งในข้อสอบ IELTS และสถานการณ์ชีวิตประจำวัน การนำคำศัพท์เหล่านี้มาใช้ในบทสนทนาและการเขียนจะช่วยให้คะแนน Speaking และ Writing ดีขึ้นได้จริงๆ ผมแนะนำให้ลองจดโน้ตคำทั้งหมด พร้อมตัวอย่างประโยค และฝึกทบทวนเป็นประจำ เช่น ใช้แอปพลิเคชันการเรียนภาษา หรือทำแบบฝึกหัดการเติมคำศัพท์ต่างๆ การรู้จักคำศัพท์จำพวกนี้ช่วยเพิ่มความมั่นใจเวลาทำข้อสอบ และยังช่วยให้เราเข้าใจเนื้อหาใน Reading ได้ชัดเจนขึ้น ใครที่กำลังเตรียมสอบ IELTS อย่าลืมเก็บคำเหล่านี้ไว้ในคลังคำศัพท์ของคุณนะครับ
