I’m 1 month sober ☺️

I have to thank all the girlies from my previous post 🥹 the support & love Ive been getting since has been such a blessing 🩷 yall are greaaaat 🥰✨

I haven’t yet let go of my vape 😭 but I haven’t drank or took anything since Sept. 6th.. I was a bartender from 18-23, so drinking NOTHING but water has been the biggest challenge. I’ve gained 10 lbs 🤣 My everyday routine has changed. I’ve always been big on self care but now? it’s almost ridiculous 😂 From cooking everyday to planning everything out. My showers are longer now, from 30mins to an hour.

I’m working on going back to school bc though I love my job, I gotta do something different. So I’ll def will have nail tech, hair stylist & esthetician next to my name REAL soon 🥳🤸🏽‍♀️

It's essential to recognize the journey toward sobriety not merely as abstaining from substances but as a process of personal growth and self-discovery. Many individuals find that embracing sober living leads to enhanced mental clarity, better physical health, and stronger relationships. A critical aspect of maintaining sobriety is engaging in self-care and establishing supportive habits. Individuals might consider exploring new hobbies or educational pursuits, as seen in the author's intention to return to school to pursue careers as a nail tech, hair stylist, and esthetician. Such aspirations reflect a proactive approach to self-improvement. Furthermore, participating in sober communities or social groups can provide vital support and encouragement. Sharing experiences with peers who understand the journey can foster resilience and accountability. Social media has become a powerful tool for individuals on a sobriety path to connect and inspire one another, cultivating a sense of belonging and empowerment. For those navigating sobriety, it's also crucial to develop healthy coping mechanisms. This may include practicing mindfulness, exercise, engaging in creative activities, or simply enjoying nature. Each step taken toward a healthier lifestyle contributes to self-worth and establishes a brighter future. In conclusion, the journey of sobriety is ongoing, filled with ups and downs. However, with commitment, support, and self-love, individuals can redefine their lives and create a fulfilling, sober lifestyle.

10 years in for alcohol and 9 years for tobacco. You can do it! One day at a time. Think about letting the vape go. It increases your alcohol cravings. Many blessings to you 🥰

10 days sober vs 480+ days 🍒
Going sober has been one of the best decisions for my mental and fitness goals. Without alcohol, my mind feels clearer, and I am more focused on my daily routines. I have more energy, sleep better, and feel motivated to stay consistent with my workouts. Mentally, I feel stronger and more in control

My post about being zero days sober is still receiving likes, so I thought I’d post an update. It’s been hard. No matter how hard I try, I always end up using again. I found a therapist who also specializes in AODA. We’ve only had one session so far, but she seems great. I’ve been open about my

How Did I Get sober?
I get asked every single day, “How did you get sober?” The truth? I died, bro. My heart stopped. I was throwing up blood, my liver was failing, and I ended up in four different hospitals. It took 18 months of recovery just to feel human again. That’s what you call forced reflection—hitting rock bot

Sober Mom 🫶🏻🤍
Last night Doug and I were laying in bed talking about how much guilt I still carry from being such a drunk and depressed mom during Maddie’s senior year. 😭 Ugh! I hate myself for it honestly… I told him how thankful I am that I got to be more present during Kiki’s senior year and be the Mom G
