Found a hidden gem along Keong Saik Road 🌟
Maggie’s instantly became one of the most memorable dining spots I’ve visited this year.
The space is gorgeous, nostalgic, and full of character — every corner feels thoughtfully designed.
🍽️ What we ordered:
• Golden Prawn Croque Madame ($25) — tiger prawn mojo, sunny side up egg, ume sauce and tobiko. Rich, indulgent and packed with flavour.
• “Furu” e Pepe Rigate ($28) — Maggie’s unique spin on cacio e pepe with fermented bean curd and maple-glazed bacon. Unexpected but so good.
• Strawberry Tea Shots — fun, refreshing, and a great way to end the meal.

The food was great, but honestly, the ambience stole the show. One of those places that stays on your mind long after you’ve left.
During my visit to Maggie’s, I was truly impressed not only by the food but also by the incredible attention to detail in the restaurant’s design and atmosphere. The blend of nostalgic elements with modern touches creates a warm and inviting environment that complements the unique menu perfectly. One standout dish was the Golden Prawn Croque Madame — the combination of tiger prawn mojo, sunny side up egg, ume sauce, and tobiko created a rich, indulgent flavor that lingered on the palate. Another highlight was Maggie’s creative take on cacio e pepe called “Furu” e Pepe Rigate, which incorporates fermented bean curd and maple-glazed bacon. This unexpected twist brought a delightful umami depth that was both surprising and satisfying. I also loved the Strawberry Tea Shots — they were a refreshing palate cleanser and offered a fun conclusion to the meal. Beyond the food, the space felt almost like a restored bistro with an ‘almost Chinese’ bistro charm, as referenced in the surrounding area descriptions. The use of elements like oak-aged pickle vinaigrette, Dongbei sauerkraut, and fermented black bean chili relish on other menu items suggested a fascinating Asian fusion influence that might be worth exploring on repeat visits. For those looking for a unique dining experience in Singapore’s Keong Saik Road area, Maggie’s offers not just food but a story told through carefully crafted dishes and an ambiance that stays with you. The service was attentive without being overbearing, adding to the overall memorable experience. Whether you are a local foodie or a visitor, this hidden gem promises a special treat away from the usual crowded spots. Next time, I plan to try the other interesting items like the oak-aged pickle vinaigrette and Toru cream crudo hinted at in the menu details. Overall, Maggie’s is a perfect spot for anyone who appreciates innovative flavors paired with a thoughtfully designed space.
