I AM A STRAIGHT NATURAL!!!

>>> Meaning I have my natural curl pattern intact but I prefer my hair straighten. ☺️

These are the products and tools I have used on my hair for years without any problems. You DO NOT NEED HIGH DOLLAR HAIR PRODUCTS TO GET AND MAINTAIN HEALTHY HAIR!!!!! I have color treated hair I dye my gray and of course the brown tones that you can see.

———- I use Revlon’s BOX DYE and have for over 10 years without any issues to the health of my hair.

• When you are a straight natural or have heat trained hair it is important to cleanse your hair from any buildup.

• YOU SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY SATURATING YOUR HAIR WITH WATER BEFORE SHAMPOO. I let water run on my hair for at least 2-3 minutes.

—— Suave’s products have never damaged or caused me hair loss I will continue to purchase them.

• It is IMPORTANT to deep condition!

—- I apply my heat protectants (the Tresemmé Dollar Tree dupe works great) leave in conditioners and serum to clean wet hair before I blow dry.

—- I forgot leave ins 🫣 but I use Aussie’s Hair Insurance and APhogee ProVitamin!!

I also use the exact same products on my kiddos and they have way more hair than I do. 🤩👍🏽

Your hair never STOPS GROWING if you take care of it, it will flourish beautifully. The goal is to retain your length which includes trims and cutting any dead hair to maintain it.

... Read moreMaintaining healthy hair on a budget is possible with the right products and techniques. Straight naturals should prioritize deep conditioning to keep their hair hydrated and reduce damage from heat styling. Keratin and protein treatments can strengthen hair and prevent breakage. Investing in quality drugstore brands, such as Suave and Tresemmé, aligns perfectly with an effective hair care routine. Products with natural ingredients like rosemary and mint not only cleanse but also invigorate the scalp, promoting healthy growth. Also, when applying heat protectants before styling, it’s essential to use them on damp hair for maximum effectiveness. Leave-in conditioners and serums, particularly those enriched with argan oil or for frizz control, can add shine and moisture. Remember to trim regularly for healthy hair retention—this encourages growth by removing split ends. Sharing your journey with a community focused on affordable hair products can offer valuable tips and support. Experiment with various drugstore options to find what works best for your hair type and texture. Embrace the process and enjoy the journey to healthier hair!

Love me some silk elements! You should try dove masks! I love the bond strength one and tried the intensive repair one and my curls were so soft! I used melanin haircare deep conditioner the other day and it didn’t do anything moisture wise
