But I've learned that true peace comes when we genuinely put everything in God's hands. It's not about being passive or giving up; it's about actively choosing to trust His divine plan and sovereignty, even when we can't see the full picture. For me, putting everything in God's hands starts with making space for Jesus in my daily life. That means carving out time for prayer, even if it's just a few minutes in the morning or before bed. I remember reading in a devotional, much like Charles F. Stanley's 'Trusting God With Today,' how vital it is to consistently bring our concerns to Him. It's a continuous conversation, not a one-time surrender. When I'm feeling overwhelmed, I literally imagine handing over my burdens to Him, knowing He's capable and loving enough to handle them. This journey towards unshakeable faith, as mentioned in Hebrews 11:1, truly is 'the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.' It means believing that even when the 'rain' is pouring or a 'giant' obstacle stands before us, God is working things for our good. It’s about focusing on Jesus, not solely on our earthly circumstances, to find genuine peace and strength. I've personally experienced moments where I thought a situation was impossible, only for God to intervene in ways I never could have imagined. It taught me that my '41' – that breakthrough, that promised land – is indeed coming, and I shouldn't give up at '40,' or any point before. Practically, this looks like choosing gratitude, even in tough times. It means remembering God's past faithfulness and clinging to His promises. When I find myself trying to wrestle back control, I gently remind myself to 'don't stop praying' and to 'walk in love,' because love is the foundation of our faith. It's amazing how much lighter I feel when I genuinely release my grip and allow God to lead. The process of trusting God with everything might not always be easy, but the freedom and strength it brings are absolutely worth it. It truly transforms your perspective and allows you to anticipate the blessings and guidance He has for you as you enter your own 'Promised Land'.
