... Read moreHey everyone! I wanted to share something really important that's close to my heart, and I hope you'll consider joining me. You might have seen the beautiful image of the Haitian flag, perhaps with the words '3 Jours de Jeûne et Prière pour Haiti' (3 Days of Fasting and Prayer for Haiti) across it. That image truly captures the spirit of what we're aiming for – a collective moment of faith and solidarity for Haiti.
I've been feeling a strong call to action lately, especially with everything Haiti has been going through. It breaks my heart to see the struggles, and I truly believe that as a community, our prayers and intentions can make a profound difference. That's why I'm so committed to this upcoming 3-day fast and prayer initiative, scheduled for July 11-13, 2025, from 6 AM to 6 PM each day. It’s not just an event; it’s a heartfelt plea and an act of unwavering belief that things can and will get better.
For those of you who might be new to fasting, or are wondering how to participate, it's simpler than you might think, and there are many ways to engage. Fasting isn't just about abstaining from food; it's about dedicating that time and focus to spiritual reflection and prayer. You could choose a full water fast if you're experienced and healthy, or perhaps a juice fast. Even a partial fast, like giving up certain meals, social media, or a particular habit for those three days, can be incredibly meaningful. The key is to intentionally direct that energy towards prayer for Haiti. Make sure to consult a doctor if you have any health concerns before starting a fast.
During these three days, I'm personally going to be focusing my prayers on several key areas for Haiti. We can pray for peace and stability in the nation, for wise and compassionate leadership, for healing for those affected by violence and hardship, and for economic recovery that brings hope and opportunity to its people. Let's also pray for protection over the innocent and for a spirit of unity to prevail across the country. Every single prayer, big or small, adds to a powerful wave of positive energy.
Seeing the Haitian flag, a symbol of resilience and pride, reminds me why this collective effort is so vital. It's about showing up, not just physically, but spiritually, for a community that needs us. The 'Soul m Agiti' logo I saw on the image also resonates deeply, reminding us of the soul and spirit of the Haitian people. This isn't just a religious act; it's a human one, driven by compassion and a shared hope for a better future.
I truly encourage you to join us, even if it's just for a few hours of prayer each day. Imagine the impact if thousands of us unite in faith, hope, and solidarity. Let's fast, let's pray, and let's believe together for Haiti's brighter tomorrow. Your participation, your intention, and your love are everything. Let's make July 11-13, 2025, a turning point.
