From my experience, the key to reviving a cyclamen often lies in focusing on the bulb rather than the foliage. Even when the leaves look wilted or dead, the bulb may still be alive and capable of regrowth. When I thought my cyclamen was dead, I was devastated—literally bawling tears! But after reading up and trying to nurture the bulb through proper watering and avoiding over-watering, I saw new growth emerge. It’s important to keep the soil slightly moist but never soggy, as cyclamen bulbs are prone to rot. Placing the plant in a cool spot with indirect light helps mimic their natural environment and encourages the bulb to recuperate. Also, be patient; sometimes it takes weeks for new shoots to reappear. I used this approach and was rewarded with my cyclamen sprouting fresh leaves and blooming once again. If you’re struggling like I did, don’t give up on your cyclamen just because it looks dead. With consistent care focused on the bulb, you can bring these lovely plants back to life and enjoy their vibrant flowers year after year. Remember—dead plants can sometimes surprise you if you keep trying your best!
