hey zesties! found something interesting theory on tiktok and decided to share it on here! so... what is the BIRD THEORY?
👇👇👇
basically it's a tiktok theory/test to gauge if you're in a healthy relationship. where you say "i saw a bird today", or point something out really ordinary (in this case, it's a bird). and your partner should respond with genuine interest. for this test, it’s not about the bird itself, it could be a car, a jacket (you get where i'm going) but about showing care for the little things your partner notices. because if they’re genuinely interested in what excites you (no matter how small), that says a lot about how they care for you 🙇🏻♀️
think about it: if you say “i saw a really pretty sunset today” and they respond with “ya, nice” vs “that's nice, did you take a pic of it? show mee”, can you see the difference in energy?
you can totally try this with your partner! but do it with an open heart!! if they don’t “pass” the test, it doesn’t mean they’re a bad partner, you shouldn't be using this as a serious relationship measure 🙅🏻♀️ because
💗 everyone expresses attention and love differently 💗
so yea i tried this with my bf for fun… and i guess he did ok??? LOL this man doesn’t really entertain me bc he always knows i’m up to some weird trend...
lmk if you tried this w/ your gf/bf! did they "pass" the test? 🤭
... Read moreThe Bird Theory is a fun, insightful way to check the level of attentiveness and care in a relationship through small, everyday moments. From my experience and what others have shared, it’s fascinating how something as simple as mentioning "I saw a bird today" opens up deeper conversations about how partners engage with each other.
Try expanding this concept beyond just birds. For example, casually mentioning a sunset, a new jacket, or even a quirky meme can serve as tests of genuine curiosity and care. When your partner asks questions or shows enthusiasm, it demonstrates their emotional investment in your daily experiences.
One thing I learned is not to take this theory too seriously or judge harshly. Everyone shows love differently, and some might express it through actions rather than words. Also, the theory sparked playful interactions in my relationship—it led to some laughter when my boyfriend teased me about being caught up in trends but ultimately showed he cared by engaging in the test.
Additionally, sharing photos or little follow-ups when you mention something can boost connection. For instance, sending a picture of that bird or sunset invites your partner to share your moment more fully, turning a simple statement into a bonding experience.
If you want to dive deeper, add your twist to the theory by introducing personalized cues or shared interests. This strengthens communication and highlights the unique ways you connect as a couple. Overall, the Bird Theory reminds us that attention to the little things can significantly impact relationship warmth and intimacy, making everyday moments meaningful.
I would do this but broke up with my narcotic ex lol he prob would’ve been like basic response lol
