How did I survive 2024

There’s a lot more that happened but those are the BIGGEST things that happened. I don’t know I feel good knowing that I hit my absolute rock bottom n came back up even better. I did have to sacrifice something’s that meant the world to me like my identity and self expression while doing it. It was worth it though. Yes it absolutely pained me to do it of course because I spent my whole life trying to figure out who I am and still am. Though at the end of the day some sacrifices are a MUST especially when you have nothing else to do but go ⬆️. Anyways I made this post because I wanted to acknowledge my own experience for myself and share for others to get inspired ig.

I think I’m gonna start making mini blog posts lol I just need to get a new computer cuz I just discover that my mine won’t stay on w/o the power cord and it’s REALLY slow.

Initially, I worked as a CNA at a nursing home that had a toxic environment, which led to my termination. I found myself without a stable job and eventually became a delivery driver. My living situation deteriorated when I was kicked out by my roommate, leaving me homeless for four months. During this time, I learned to adapt and survive while sleeping in my car and couch surfing with friends. Despite the hardships, I faced the reality of my situation with humor and creativity, like when I inadvertently lost my best friend's birthday card between my car seats. The journey also included dealing with moments of deep depression and frustration, such as when my car broke down multiple times. However, through persistence, I secured a job in Virginia as a CNA just a week after moving. The experience was transformative; I celebrated my first paycheck on my birthday and finally found a place to call home. My story emphasizes the importance of resilience in the face of adversity. No matter how low you might feel, there is always a possibility to rise again. I encourage others facing similar difficulties to embrace their unique journeys towards recovery and self-discovery, as my experience proved that it’s never too late to start anew.
