Why I’m going back to “old school” products
August 2023 I had to big chop my hair due to bleach damage 😩 I’m obsessed with dyeing my hair but I prioritize healthy hair over length. So I am starting my hair growth journey again for the 3000th time.
This time around, I've chosen to revisit the products my mom used when I was little because they've always been effective! Despite the controversy, I stick with what works for me. Sure, there are newer, pricier options, but after multiple restarts, I'm going back to my roots.
I’ve been using Blue Magic for about 7 months now, and my hair adores it! I probably don’t use it the “right” way but I’ve been applying it throughout my hair and this has worked wonders for its dryness. I wash my hair every Sunday so my hair isn’t super oily. This works for me ! My hair has grown so much I’m able to put it in a ponytail now
Anyways share your favorite "old school" products below—I'm looking to expand beyond just Blue Magic!
