I got to draw this awesome trio while working at the Elkhart Fair in Indiana! As they walked up to the booth, the young lady in the middle spotted my easel and told me she follows me on TikTok and wanted me to draw her very first caricature.
Naturally, I said, “No pressure, right?” 😅
She immediately replied, “Oh yeah… there’s pressure!” 😂
The crazy part is she had no idea I was going to be at the fair. She just knew there would be caricatures there and figured she’d see if I happened to be the artist. Spoiler alert,… I was. What are the odds?

I’ll be honest, whenever one of my followers tracks me down for a drawing, it’s an incredible honor… but it’s also a little nerve racking. I never want to disappoint someone who’s been supporting my work, so I always feel that extra push to create something they’ll truly love.
Thankfully, this concept came to me almost immediately. They told me they love kayaking, and once I heard that, the image practically drew itself. I pictured them paddling upstream together with heart-shaped paddles, and for some reason, it just flowed perfectly with the energy they gave off. (pun intended. 😏)
