I feel you and I hear you. 27 years ago my husband passed from cancer, leaving me to be a single mother of two young teenage boys. I had to work 2 jobs in order to keep us going. I did ok, and I'm proud of my boys. I still cry everyday when I think of him cuz our love was like no other. A forever kind of love. I grieved for 3 years before his passing cuz I knew the outcome. It still hit me like a freight train. Grief never goes away...it stays hidden and jumps out at you when you least expect it. Tears fill my eyes as I write this, cuz I'm grateful we had such a love.
