How I broke away from religion and came conscious
Heyyy yall! I’m from Louisiana which is a big part of the Bible Belt! Meaning we grow up heavy on religion, that’s what we’re taught from birth through death. I was HEAVY in the church, from choir, dance team, drill team, praise team to doing mini sermons and teaching to younger kids at our Christian summer camp since i was a PK. I always believed what i was taught but i ALWAYS had questions. Being a Christian my questions were always answered with scripture, which at the time made sense. Before and during Covid I separated from my family a little because i had my own family to tend to and everyone expected me to come to them but i never got the same in return. This along with the Christian church not presenting themselves Christ like i drifted away from the physical church trying to figure out why i was not feeling it anymore and that it had to do with my soul or spirit. I always felt like i was the only genuine person in any room and wanted to figure out is it me or them. In turn I started to research what i could to heal the spiritual in myself and create my own Sunday routines. I stumbled upon chakras and at first i was like wtf is this because being in the church I’ve never heard of it! Then i thought hmmm maybe this is something needed because the church never talks about really healing. The first time i heard about chakras was from Ralph Smart, he was such a cool dude and I loved his energy! Once i started unblocking my chakras i quickly realized that God is in me, God is in all of us and that i no longer needed the church to feel connected to God, if you just tap into yourself you’ll see! I no longer needed to be in a building full of the most nastiest, disingenuous and judgiest (if that’s a word lol) energies, not that they were that toward me but i was a PK so i knew the behind the scenes of most leaders in the church(not all) and my guardian was one of the worst! While unblocking my chakras i came across shadow work as well because I had a lot of anger and trauma to deal with from my biological parents and my guardian. Once i healed that i no longer felt the need to keep relationships just because i was born into them and i no longer let anything go unsaid. Once people saw that i was a total different person and very heavy on accountability they started dropping like flies and my life became soooooo peaceful! There is so much more truth that I’ve found out about religion that I’ll talk about later! Now i am an advocate for cut em off and sit in your peace lol. You have to be a very healed person in order to do this and i am just veryyyy grateful to be a chosen one fr because i can definitely handle anything since i am REALLY connected to the source 🪬🪐🌌♊️#healing #spirituality #God #consciousness #selfimprovement
In today's world, many people find themselves questioning traditional religious beliefs as they seek deeper spiritual truths. This is especially true in regions like the Bible Belt, where societal norms can be distinctly tied to organized religion. As communities evolve, individuals are exploring alternative pathways to spirituality through practices such as chakra healing, mindfulness, and personal accountability. Chakra systems, rooted in ancient traditions, highlight energy centers within the body linked to physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Each chakra is associated with specific qualities—such as the root chakra's focus on stability and security, and the crown chakra's connection to divine consciousness. Unblocking these chakras can enable a profound sense of empowerment, leading to personal growth and transformation. Additionally, shadow work has emerged as a critical process for confronting and healing past traumas, thus offering individuals a chance to liberate themselves from unhealthy relationships. By delving into shadow aspects of the self, one can achieve greater emotional balance and authenticity, essential for creating lasting peace in life. In the healing journey, community also plays a significant role. Followers of spiritual practices often seek like-minded individuals who encourage growth and understanding, emphasizing the importance of surrounding oneself with positive energies. Through self-discovery, connection to a broader spiritual practice, and letting go of toxic relationships, many are realizing that they can indeed cultivate their own sanctuary of peace—no church required. Ultimately, this journey isn’t just about abandoning religion but finding a deeper connection to the source of one’s existence. It allows individuals to redefine their beliefs, forge new paths of consciousness, and embrace a more fulfilled life—rooted in self-acceptance and love.
