It left me with a profound mix of 'ughhhh' and 'yayyyy' feelings – 'yayyyy' for being in amazing Thailand, a country I adore, but a huge 'ughhhh' for the companion I was with. It felt like I was constantly on edge, unable to fully relax and immerse myself in the cultural experiences I craved. Looking back, it’s a tough lesson learned about choosing travel companions. Even in breathtakingly beautiful places like Bangkok, the wrong company can truly turn an adventure into a 'HORROR STORYTIME'. It wasn't about the stunning temples or the delicious street food; it was about the uncomfortable personal dynamic that overshadowed everything.
