... Read moreIf you’re exploring Jeju’s culinary landscape, Shinjungsangan Jeju black pig specialty store is an absolute highlight. This place offers an authentic Korean BBQ experience where the black pork is incredibly fresh and juicy, grilled to perfection by attentive staff. The unlimited self-serve banchan selection adds so much variety and complements the meat beautifully—all at an affordable price. Aside from black pork, don’t miss out on the hairtail fish set meal at Amhaeng Eosa Aewol, where you get to enjoy the fish two ways—grilled and in stew—with many delicious side dishes. It’s a local favorite that really showcases Jeju’s seafood prowess. The set also features a fun self-serve egg station where you can fry your own egg. For dessert, Mangoholic is a gem with its mango-themed offerings. I loved the mango bingsu topped with fresh fruit and assorted treats, not too sweet but perfectly refreshing after a heavy meal. Another standout is the stir-fried octopus near Jeju Central Park Residence. The dish comes with noodles hidden under a spicy octopus and veggie mix, accompanied by rice drizzled with fragrant sesame oil. The complimentary banchan here really ties everything together. In Hallim, Hyeopjae Kalguksu is a local staple famous for its light seafood broth loaded with fresh abalone, prawns, and octopus. The abalone porridge here is also a must-try, especially when paired with their refillable kimchi. Each of these spots offers an authentic taste of Jeju’s diverse food culture. Exploring them at your own pace, just like I did on my second trip, made my experience all the more special. Whether it’s the tenderness of black pork or the fresh bounty from the sea, Jeju’s food scene truly left a lasting impression on me.

✨MUST VISIT✨ place in Jeju!!
If you’re heading to Jeju, do NOT skip Udo Island. Just a 30-minute ferry ride away, it’s perfect for a day trip. We rented a scooter for 3 hours to explore the island. Even though it’s small, 3 hours felt a bit rushed since we kept stopping along the way. We arrived around noon, which I wouldn’
