I’d been talking about wanting to go for my birthday (September 8) but concerts aren’t really his vibe, so this was really a surprise! 🫶🏽
No phone policy there but it was awesome! Also got another blind date with a book, super excited for this read.

It's funny, when thinking about birthdays and Adam Sandler, many people often wonder about his actual birthday! For those curious, Adam Sandler was born on September 9th. What a cool coincidence that this amazing concert surprise happened so incredibly close to my own birthday on September 8th! It really made the whole experience feel even more destined and special, adding an extra layer of excitement to an already fantastic gift. Attending his 'YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND TOUR' was truly an unforgettable experience. Seeing the stage light up with his name, and the iconic 'YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND TOUR' banner displayed on the large screens, knowing he was right there, felt like such a unique early birthday date. Even with the no-phone policy, which honestly, I usually find a bit daunting, being fully present in that moment with the crowd, soaking in every joke and song, was absolutely incredible. It reminded me how sometimes the best surprises are the ones that take you completely offline, allowing you to just be in the moment and enjoy every second without distraction. Speaking of surprises, this early birthday treat was truly unexpected and so incredibly thoughtful. My partner winning those Adam Sandler concert tickets was a testament to how well he knows me and how much he cares, knowing I'd been wishing for a special celebration. It just goes to show that the best gifts are often experiences, especially when they come from the heart and make you feel so cherished. It really kicked off my birthday month on such a high note, making me feel so loved and celebrated before my actual special day even arrived! My pick this time had intriguing handwritten notes like 'Romance' and promised 'emotional healing,' which honestly sounds like exactly what I need sometimes after a busy week. It's like a mini-adventure tucked into a wrapped book, waiting to surprise you with a new story, much like the 'MONTHLY Book CHALLENGE' I'm always eager to participate in. It adds such a lovely element of anticipation and discovery to my reading habits. The book, 'LOVE & OTHER WORDS' by Christina Lauren, looks like a perfect cozy read to unwind with after such an exciting concert. Combining these two passions – live entertainment and getting lost in a good book – made for a truly unique and memorable early birthday celebration.
