The RC-XD waaay to hard to control ๐๏ธโฆbut I got one! ๐ฃ(Just the wrong oneโฆmy teammate @Muted Monster ) ๐คฃ ๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ
Okay, so you're probably here because, like me, you've either been blown up by an RC-XD or tried to use one and wondered, 'What is this thing?' Let me break it down for you from a fellow player's perspective! The RC-XD, or Remote Controlled Explosive Device, is a classic killstreak in Call of Duty, especially prominent in games like Warzone and Black Ops. Essentially, it's a small, remote-controlled car packed with explosives. When you activate it, you switch to a first-person view from the car, and your goal is to drive it towards enemy players and detonate it for a kill. It's a fantastic way to clear out campers, finish off downed enemies, or just cause some chaos! Getting an RC-XD usually means earning enough points in-game to call in a killstreak. In Warzone, it's often a lower-tier killstreak, so it's quite accessible. However, as I hilariously (and embarrassingly) found out, actually controlling the thing is a whole other story! It's notoriously tricky to maneuver, especially at high speeds or in tight spaces. You really need to master the steering, and sometimes, even the slightest bump can send it veering off course. I've had so many moments where I'm trying to line up that perfect hit, only for it to swerve into a wall or, worse, my own teammate! (Sorry again, Muted Monster!) So, how do you use this explosive little terror effectively? First, timing is everything. Don't just pop it out in the open. Try to deploy it from cover or when you have a clear path to your target. Think about using its 'SPEED BOOST' feature strategically to close distances quickly or navigate tricky terrain. While it doesn't actually 'JUMP' in the literal sense, knowing how to use its momentum to get over small obstacles can be clutch. Target priority is also key โ go for enemies who are stationary, reviving a teammate, or otherwise distracted. Itโs also great for flushing out players hiding behind cover. The RC-XD isn't just about getting kills; it's also a fantastic tool for gathering intelligence. You can use it to scout ahead, see enemy positions, and even bait opponents into revealing themselves before you detonate. Just remember, once you activate it, your main body is vulnerable, so make sure you're in a safe spot. Despite its control challenges, the RC-XD remains one of the most satisfying (and sometimes frustrating) killstreaks in Call of Duty. There's nothing quite like the thrill of chasing down an enemy with that little car, culminating in a satisfying 'BOOM!' Just try not to take out your squad in the process โ trust me, the comms get pretty awkward after that!
