Solo Travel vs Trips with Friends?!!?

I have traveled solo & gone on trips with friends, so this post kinda breaks down the pros & cons of both!!!

TRAVELING WITH FRIENDS — Pros & Cons 👯‍♀️

It’s always amazing when the trip makes it out of the group chat!! You’re on a trip with awesome people making memories, sharing each others clothes, & taking each others photos. There’s also safety in numbers when exploring new cities! But you also have to remember that people can be different when it comes to traveling & you have to learn to adapt & compromise.

TRAVELING SOLO — Pros & Cons 🦋

Freedom!!! You’re on your own! Your own time, your own schedule, your own decisions — woohoo! But although it’s easy to make friends while solo traveling, you still may feel lonely missing those you love at home or wishing they were experiencing stuff with you. You also may end up in a scary situation & have to face it alone!

I think everyone should experience both types of traveling as they are equally as fun & rewarding in my opinion!!!

Balancing independence with safety strategies is essential in this context. Researching your destination, maintaining awareness, and using technology for connectivity are vital. Moreover, it's beneficial to network with fellow travelers for advice and local insights. Ultimately, experiencing both solo trips and adventures with friends cultivates a well-rounded approach to travel, each offering unique opportunities for personal growth and unforgettable memories.
