HAPPY MF DAY EVERYDAY
As a stay-at-home mom myself, I completely relate to the struggles and small victories in managing daily chores like laundry and cleaning. What I’ve learned over time is that setting a simple schedule with breaks really helps maintain sanity. For example, tackling laundry loads in 60-minute segments while sipping coffee can make the process less overwhelming and more manageable. The words “START” and “PAUSE” become your personal reminders to keep the momentum but also allow yourself rest. It’s important to embrace the messy reality and not aim for perfection every day. Some days, turning in a load of laundry and moving on to the next task is all you can do—and that’s perfectly fine. Offering yourself grace helps prevent burnout and keeps you motivated to keep going. Also, sharing your progress, even humorously like Liz does, in online communities or with friends can provide encouragement and a sense of camaraderie. Lastly, celebrating small wins is key. Whether it’s getting those clothes folded, spending quality time with your kids, or just surviving another crazy day, recognizing these moments can transform a challenging daily routine into a more positive and fulfilling one. So, get up, keep moving, sip your coffee, and remember you’re doing an amazing job!
