Review:
We were a long time away from reading youth literature, and we came across this book. When we read the synopsis and the cursory reviews, it looked cute, so we bought it.
The three knight boys are really cute. Seeing them try to plant a brave tree in their hearts through learning to be a knight on their own is encouraging and encouraging. And the children's relationships are very good. We see them as very strong and brave, partly because of each other's presence. Because there are two friends who support and encourage each other, so they dare to face things. Even if they encounter obstacles that do not know how to transcend, but because there are each other, so they smile and bring each other through, which is very cute.
Although the main character is a child and the child's point of view does not understand the world, we also see the abnormal behavior of some adults, both toxic and dangerous, and it makes us feel that there are a lot of dark corners in the story. We are only looking at events with the eyes of 12-year-olds who do not understand it. But because there are always views and opinions of the 43-year-old main characters in the future, we will also see a lot of growth and changing views after the world.
In the story, it compares courage as a sword that helps the way and says that to live and grow up requires a sword of courage. But there is one paragraph that is a 43-year-old view. It says that the other thing that is equally important is a shield. We have a sword to conquer, and also a shield to protect ourselves. Because protecting your life is very necessary to be an adult (we really like this paragraph).
When we finished reading, we found that this book took us to see the importance of courage, enlarging the word "spout the way" to see clearly that when planting and taking good care of the seeds of courage, whether in the face of small or large matters, this sword would help us pass through. Playing as a knight that summer produced a seedling in the hearts of the three children, as well as a reader who, in addition to gaining motivation, perhaps also had a seedling plant in his heart.
