For years, I held onto the belief that my suffering needed to be justified by success, and if I didn’t reach certain milestones quickly, I felt like a failure. But growth isn’t always visible on a calendar or social media updates—it’s often quiet, internal, and gradual. One important realization for me was understanding that confidence is not a prerequisite for action. Waiting to feel fully sure before making a move only delayed progress. Instead, I found that confidence builds through consistent effort, even amid uncertainty. Giving yourself permission to move forward while unsure creates momentum and opens doors to new opportunities. Another breakthrough was embracing imperfection in decision-making. I used to freeze, afraid of making the “wrong” choice. However, I learned that progress is made through responsive actions—adjusting as you go instead of striving for perfect moves. This mindset has allowed me to take risks without fear of failure. Healing also doesn’t need to be complete before you accept success or joy. Too often, I thought I had to be fully healed or free of fear to welcome good things. But life teaches us that fruitfulness and healing can happen simultaneously. You don’t have to wait to be finished to be fruitful. Most importantly, I learned that wanting ease and rest is a human need, not a weakness. Releasing the pressure to carry burdens alone and accepting support—whether emotional or practical—has made my journey more sustainable.
