What a debut! This was such a unique fantasy compared to others I've read, & that was so refreshing!
Akemi's character growth was so good, the plot is fantastic, (& I would say this is a plot forward book) the magic is unlike others I've read, and the other characters? I'm on the fence with a certain someone, I just don't quite know how to feel, but I desperately need more of a certain Lord! I loved all the new creatures and hope to see more of them in future books!
