Fresh air and daylight exposure are vital for supporting your baby's circadian rhythms, which help improve sleep patterns and reduce jaundice. It's also crucial to know the significance of proper nutrition for breastfeeding. Insufficient nutrition can lead to reduced breast milk quality, affecting both you and your baby. Skin-to-skin contact not only promotes bonding but also regulates your baby's body temperature and bolsters their immune system by transferring beneficial bacteria. Additionally, 'naked tummy time' enhances your baby's motor skills and can alleviate diaper rash by letting air circulate around their skin. Furthermore, securing a safe sleeping arrangement is paramount to prevent accidents, so familiarize yourself with safe bed-sharing practices. Lastly, remember that bathing too frequently can strip your baby's delicate skin of natural oils and bacteria. These insights can help parents nurture their newborns effectively and joyfully.
