Baby Registry Sites!

These are my top 2 sites for building a baby registry!

BABYLIST-

I love Babylist because you can add stuff onto your registry from any website! This makes me easier if you want stuff that is from a smaller website or isn’t on Amazon. You get a 15% discount on the items on your registry that haven’t been bought yet when you are about 2 months from your due date!

AMAZON-

The Amazon registry is awesome because it is convenient and it’s free shipping if you have prime! They also have a 15% discount, 60 days prior to your due date!

Just because of the completion discount I always make a registry for myself, even if I don’t share it with anyone so that I can get the discounts! You can use it 60 days prior and 90 days after your due date!

... Read moreSetting up a baby registry can feel overwhelming, but it's truly a lifesaver for expectant parents! While Babylist and Amazon are my top picks for their amazing completion discounts, let's dive deeper into what makes them truly shine and how you can get the most out of them, ensuring you're well-prepared for your little one's arrival. What I truly adore about Babylist is its incredible flexibility. Unlike traditional registries, you're not limited to items from a single store. Their universal registry feature means you can literally add anything from anywhere online – whether it's a handcrafted mobile from Etsy, a unique piece from a small boutique, or even experience-based gifts like meal delivery services. This truly makes it 'the baby registry that grows with your family,' encompassing all your unique needs. Don't forget about their fantastic Welcome Box, often filled with generous samples and coupons, which is a lovely perk just for signing up and adding a few items! They also offer group gifting options for bigger ticket items, making it easier for loved ones to contribute to something substantial like a stroller or crib. Then there's Amazon, the king of convenience. With Prime, you get that glorious free shipping, which is a massive plus when you're ordering baby essentials frequently. Their selection is unparalleled, from diapers and wipes to nursery furniture and feeding supplies – literally everything you could ever need. Similar to Babylist, Amazon also offers a Welcome Box for Prime members who set up a registry and meet certain criteria. It's packed with useful full-size products and samples, making it another exciting bonus. Their easy return policy is also a huge source of peace of mind, especially when you might receive duplicate gifts or items that don't quite fit your needs. Now, let's talk strategy for those coveted 15% completion discounts. As I mentioned, I always create a registry just for the discount, even if I don't plan on sharing it widely. Both Babylist and Amazon typically offer this discount around 60 days before your due date. This is the perfect time to snag those big-ticket items you've been eyeing, like a car seat, stroller, or even a breast pump, saving you a significant amount. Remember, the discount usually applies to items remaining on your registry, so it's smart to add everything you might need, even if you think you'll buy it yourself. You can usually use the discount for a period both before and after your due date, giving you flexibility to grab last-minute essentials. Beyond the big sites, think about what truly helps new parents. Don't just list gear; consider practical items like diaper subscriptions, wipe refills, gift cards for food delivery, or even contributions to a college fund. Think about items that will make your life easier in those first few blurry months: a comfortable glider, a sound machine, extra swaddles, and lots of burp cloths! And yes, even a few self-care items for mom and dad are totally acceptable – you'll thank yourself later! Setting up your registry should be an exciting part of your pregnancy journey. By leveraging the comprehensive features of Babylist and the sheer convenience of Amazon, alongside strategic use of those amazing completion discounts and welcome boxes, you'll be well-prepared for your little one's arrival. Happy registering!
