Quick healthy Dessert.
So I got super munchiefied last night after getting home- and I’m realizing that that seems to be my downfall point.
Well- I have some plain Greek yogurt in the fridge; chocolate pea and quinoa based protein powder (whey makes me sick every time I’m not sure if it’s just too heavy for my system or if I need to actually eat with it instead of just doing shakes) and topped with strawberry- banana- and peanut butter.
It actually did fill me up but not leave me super bloated and sluggish feeling like it would’ve if I had gotten up and made a cake or brownie or something.
Here’s to building healthier habits and doing our best to stick with them! #healthydessert #happinessinthedetqils #fruitandypgurt #pcoschanges #weightlosshope
When seeking healthy dessert alternatives, incorporating Greek yogurt is a fantastic idea. Greek yogurt is high in protein and can be paired with an array of flavors and toppings. Adding fruits like strawberries and bananas not only enhances the taste but also boosts the nutritional value of your dessert. You might also consider using protein powders made from plant sources, like pea and quinoa, to create a more balanced treat. These options are great for those looking to avoid traditional desserts laden with sugar. To enhance your dessert experience, try layering Greek yogurt with granola for added crunch or drizzling a bit of honey or maple syrup for sweetness. Moreover, practicing portion control can help maintain healthy eating habits. By creating mini servings of your dessert, you can satisfy your cravings while keeping caloric intake in check. Always remember that enjoying desserts occasionally is part of a balanced diet, so don’t be afraid to treat yourself in moderation. Embracing a healthier dessert lifestyle can contribute not only to your physical well-being but also to your overall happiness.
