Day 3 & Day 4

So still pushing through on my 75 Glow challenge I’m working through- have gotten a walk and active times into both days and healthy meals to boot. Not gonna lie I have spent most of today resting and researching- because rest days are just as important as full on push it days- and I am respecting myself enough to build healthy and lasting habits not just a challenge I will follow for the next 2.5 months you know? Any questions feel free to ask but sitting here at the end of day 4 and heading into the beginning of this next week and Day 5 I feel pretty comfortable and confident that I can sustainably make these changes and do better things for myself and my health. #lemon8fitness #75followers #75glowjourney #happinessisintgework #keepmovingforward

On Day 3, I completed a brisk 1-mile walk that lasted about 25 minutes, burning nearly 70 calories. The pace felt comfortable, which helped me sustain my energy throughout the day. Walking in nature not only benefits physical health but also boosts mental clarity—I even spotted some baby turkeys, which was a delightful reminder of nature’s small joys. Day 4 followed with another 1-mile hike, this time lasting just under 24 minutes and burning close to 245 calories, showing how consistency can improve endurance and calorie burn over time. I also focused on mindful eating by preparing healthy meals that fueled my body properly, supporting my physical activity. An essential part of this challenge has been embracing rest days. Rest isn’t a setback; it’s a vital component of building lasting habits. I dedicated much of Day 4 to rest and self-care rituals, such as a relaxing bath, which helped my body recover and prepared me for upcoming workouts. Rest days help prevent burnout and injuries, allowing me to approach my challenge with renewed motivation. By balancing active days with rest and incorporating nutritious meals, I’m creating sustainable patterns instead of short-term fixes. This approach has boosted my confidence as I progress through the challenge, allowing me to envision continuing these habits beyond the 75 days. For anyone struggling to maintain a fitness routine, consider pacing yourself and listening to your body. Sustainable health comes from consistent, balanced effort paired with recovery. I’m excited to head into Day 5 with a positive mindset, ready to keep moving forward. Feel free to ask any questions if you’re curious about my routine or motivation—I’m here to share the journey and support others striving for healthier lifestyles.
