Day Eleven
So I started out today with a slight migraine, so I took it slow for the most part. I gave all three of the animals a bath today as well as myself I wound up getting out to do a 2 mile walk today which my timing is getting a little better but that’s something I plan to keep working on if I’m gonna do a5K this fall like I hope to. But consistency is key. I have also started scheduling fall and Halloween shoots for this year- in aspirations that this glowup will help more than I’m physically expecting it too, but I’m hoping consistency will surprise me. #day11 #75glow
Dealing with a migraine while trying to maintain a fitness and self-care routine can be challenging, but consistency truly makes a difference. From my experience, starting the day slow and listening to your body is crucial, especially when symptoms like migraines arise. Giving all my pets baths—notably my cats who were less than thrilled—reminded me how small acts of care can uplift the spirit even on tough days. Taking a 2-mile walk helped me improve my pace gradually, which I believe is key to building endurance for my upcoming 5K this fall. Tracking my timing and aiming for consistent progress keeps me motivated. Scheduling themed shoots for fall and Halloween adds an exciting creative outlet to my routine, blending fitness with personal growth and artistic expression. Incorporating a balance between physical activity, self-care, and creative goals has elevated my overall wellbeing. Whether it’s battling the occasional migraine or managing daily tasks, I’ve learned that patience with myself and steady commitment to my goals create sustainable change. I encourage others to embrace this mindset—start where you are, be gentle with your body, and keep moving forward. If you’re planning your own fitness or self-care journey, consider setting small, achievable milestones and mixing in activities that bring joy, like artistic projects or pet care. It’s these moments of personal dedication that collectively build a healthier and happier lifestyle.
