The Voice, Jamsan's fairy tale world.
"The Voice," an art exhibition that invites us into the fairy tale world of Jamsan, an artist who uses silence, echoes the sound of emotion and feeling.
Jamsan, a Korean artist who conveys intricate feelings within his mind through gentle painting, has a work style that combines fantasy tales and complex life stories in the real world; his work is known as the illustrator of the Dark Fantasy storybook in the famous series It's Okay to Not Be Okay, and in this exhibition he is taking the audience on an even further journey, through the language of wordless art.
The work of the exhibition, "The Voice," is a move from illustration to artwork that tells stories independently. Jamsan chose silence as the main language of art to speak of feelings that are difficult to communicate with words.
The exhibition includes two sets of paintings, Red Chair and Rose from the Stars, conveying stories from an adult's life perspective. It's like a poem of waiting, hope and healing, but it tells stories through images and symbols that are friendly and easily accessible to everyone.
Let's listen to your inner voice, whether it's the voice of loneliness, hope or forgiveness, and we can find a picture that speaks for our feelings at "The Voice."
