A sunken house in a fish tank, or a society awash in uncertainty, "A Solo Project," an exhibition that invites us to explore demolition and rebuilding by Philosophy Golden Harp.
Philosophy Golden Harp Artists who create conceptual works of art, which often challenge audiences to overlook physical objects and explore the hidden meanings behind them, using real processes and situations as the primary medium for questioning social issues.
In "A Solo Project," artists take demolition and assemble, creating new meanings through works / | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | / | (2025), which is an aquarium-like glass tank formed by the demolition of glass plates, doors and windows of the gallery to make up a glass cabinet. Concrete pillows from the landing strip are used as glass cabinet bases. Inside the glass cabinet, we will find temporary house-like structures submerged in a glass tank set on a water meadow. This may reflect instability, vulnerability and the struggle to survive, but simultaneously it is open to reinterpretation according to the viewer's view.
The exhibition is set up during the 10th anniversary of BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY, founded in 2015 by Sukhumi Sukhuman in Ayutthaya and Sukhumanabhumi. Over the past decade, the gallery has served not only as an art exhibition space, but also as a community of experimentation, creativity and exchange that has driven artists to work more freely and experimentally. The selection of the work of Philosophy, the Golden Harp, is like a review of the gallery's standpoint and forward-looking at the same time.
