"The Marbling Art: A Journey of Color and Watercourse," Dialogue of Letting Go and Remedies Through Art
The exhibition reflects the idea that art can heal the mind through a gentle and natural process of color and watercourse movement. The idea was created by the "Marbling Art" workshop held last September under the direction of Metasit Bunaikbuth, a specialist artist in Marbling prints and art.
In the Marbling Art workshop, the workshop participants learned to drop paint on the surface of the water, before putting the paper down to print traces of that rhythm. The appeal of this process lies in its irreproducibility and that none of the images are the same, because every piece is caused by a particular state of water, temperature, color concentration, and hand force at that moment. The result is a work full of speed and the power of free movement.
Within the work, we will find Marbling Art images from the workshop, bright tones mixed with pastels that alternate freely inserted in a variety of ways, reflecting the identity of the creators, and also emotional evidence of the process of learning from the movement of color and water, a prayer that allows the creators to regain their sense of self.
