The uniqueness of CCAM is its distinctly coupled white and black buildings, which are designed as architectural symbols that reflect the identities of the two great artists of Chiang Rai, namely Master Chulimchai Voritpiphat (Turquoise Temple), the representative of the "White Tower," and Master Villai Index (Black House), the representative of the "Black Tower." The two architectures are therefore a dialogue duo that connects Chiang Rai's art history wriggling with the contemporary art context of today.
Within CCAM's space are rotating exhibits. There are also cafes, museums, workshops, activity spaces and art workshops open to all ages in the family, getting involved with the arts variously.
