"We Said Forever Too Soon Arrived Too Soon
If "Forever" arrives too soon and love does not disappear, but only moves from the heart to the memory, "We Said Forever Too Soon" is an exhibition that invites us to look at love after leave as something that persists despite the end of the relationship by the artist Kornalisa.
The exhibition stems from the artist's personal experience from the end of a long relationship, but instead of recounting the loss directly, Kornalisa chooses to explore love in another state, love that is no longer occupied, but also exists in the form of memory, bond, and acceptance that something cannot continue according to its original promise; the word "forever" is therefore viewed as not a goal, if it is a moment that ever happens, and deserves to be valued.
The works in the exhibition use a tender pastel tone; the images appear slurred, resembling still-warm but unclear memories; the characters in the images are often small compared to backdrops like the sky, sea or meadow; this unbalanced scale reflects human vulnerability in the face of emotional change; some are single-handedly characters; some are stand face-to-face at unsurmountable distances; while flowers or pets become small details that represent traces of extant attachment.
Instead of eventful storytelling, artists choose to create emotional spaces for the audience to freely relate their experiences to the work through silence, free space, and an unpushy atmosphere. The exhibition does not talk directly about the breakup, if it asks what we have left after the donkey.
"We Said Forever Too Soon" has led us to review that the end of a relationship does not necessarily mean the failure of love, and to acknowledge that love can change patterns from possession to recognition, from cohabitation to separate growth.

นิทรรศการ "We Said Forever Too Soon" ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นการถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกส่วนตัวของศิลปิน Kornalisa แต่ยังเป็นพื้นที่ให้ผู้ชมได้ทบทวนและเชื่อมโยงประสบการณ์ทางความรักและการจากลาในรูปแบบที่ลึกซึ้งและละเอียดอ่อน งานศิลปะที่ใช้โทนสีพาสเทลอ่อนละมุนและฟุ้งเบลอ เปรียบเสมือนภาพความทรงจำที่ยังอบอุ่นแม้ไม่ชัดเจน ถือเป็นการนำเสนอความเปราะบางและความซับซ้อนของอารมณ์เมื่อเผชิญกับการสิ้นสุดของความสัมพันธ์ ศิลปินเลือกใช้สเกลตัวละครที่เล็กกว่าภูมิทัศน์กว้างใหญ่ เช่น ท้องฟ้า ทะเล หรือต้นหญ้า เพื่อแสดงถึงความรู้สึกอ่อนแอและความเล็กน้อยของมนุษย์ในช่วงเวลาที่เปลี่ยนแปลงทางจิตใจ ผลงานบางชิ้นแสดงถึงตัวละครเดี่ยวที่เผชิญหน้ากับความว่างเปล่า บางชิ้นมีการเผชิญหน้าระหว่างตัวละครแต่ยังมีระยะห่างแสดงถึงสถานะความสัมพันธ์ที่ไม่อาจกลับคืนสู่เดิม ดอกไม้และสัตว์เลี้ยงในภาพเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของร่องรอยความผูกพันที่ยังหลงเหลือ แม้ความสัมพันธ์นั้นจะจบแล้วก็ตาม นิทรรศการนี้จึงกลายเป็นบทสนทนาเงียบ ๆ ที่ชวนให้เราตั้งคำถามกับตัวเองว่า หลังจากการเลิกรา เรายังเก็บอะไรไว้ในใจ ความรักในรูปแบบใหม่ที่เปลี่ยนจากการครอบครองเป็นการจดจำถือเป็นการยอมรับความจริงที่ไม่อาจเปลี่ยนแปลง และเปลี่ยนความเจ็บปวดเป็นการเติบโตทางใจ "ตลอดไป" จึงไม่ใช่แค่คำสัญญาที่ต้องรักษา แต่เป็นช่วงเวลาหนึ่งที่มีคุณค่าและควรได้รับการเคารพ สำหรับผู้ที่สนใจการศึกษาความหมายของความรักที่หลากหลาย และต้องการสัมผัสกับศิลปะที่เปิดโอกาสให้สะท้อนความรู้สึกส่วนบุคคล นิทรรศการนี้นับว่าน่าสนใจเป็นอย่างยิ่ง เปิดให้เข้าชมฟรีทุกวันจันทร์ถึงเสาร์ ที่ Xspace กรุงเทพฯ ตั้งแต่วันนี้จนถึง 27 ธันวาคม 2568 พร้อมที่จอดรถสะดวกสบาย เป็นโอกาสดีในการหาแรงบันดาลใจและพื้นที่สำหรับการเยียวยาจิตใจผ่านศิลปะชั้นยอด
