The Space Between Our Worlds
"The Space Between Our Worlds," a group of six artists who offer six different artistic perspectives, each artist creates his or her own particular world through a different artistic language, but when these works come together, the space between those personal worlds becomes a conversation space where the audience can explore the memories, ambitions, vulnerability and existence of contemporary humans.
In the work of Adam Wilson, the image of the "giant" serves as a representation of the presence, being seen, and desire to fade away simultaneously, reflecting the semi-state between existence and disappearance, a contemporary state of man in today's world.
As Kanthachit Vishdikkul conveys migration, survival and ambition through the experience of constant mobility, his works question both physical and mental instability.
The world of the Demian Factory opens up areas of perception by combining Western abstraction with Thai beauty, inviting viewers to perceive time and inner experience through feelings and atmosphere rather than concrete interpretation.
In another corner, Sasithon Amarashiram explores the line between truth and imagination; the characters in the works are created from memory and thought, to become a vague and fragile personal world.
Childhood memories and imaginary narratives appear in the ceramic works of "Hup Ceramic," through mythical animals and semi-dreamy semi-real appearances, which connect the past, beliefs, and personal identities, while "Thanakorn Sirik" uses colors, lines, and shapes to reveal the hidden identities within, creating a space to reflect on the complexity, vulnerability, and uncertainty of being human.
Although the six artists have different artistic approaches and languages, all the works are connected through play with truth and imagination, exploration of individual and mutual memory, pursuit of understanding, and questioning human existence in today's world.
