Pin Bang Bang Phu and Boom Bangkok Coordinates not to be missed at Bangkok Design Week 2026
Bangkok Design Week 2026 is back under the DESIGN S / O / S theme, a theme that does not serve as a warning, but a sign that the city is sending out that design is one of the key tools to help people, cities and the environment survive.
This year# InsomniaSceneSurveying 33 coordinates, over 50 works scattered in Bang Lampu-Khao Sai, the mouth of the Market-Luk Canal, and the Muang-Noi Market, with the expansion of the dialogue to other neighborhoods of the city. The design is not placed in exhibition rooms alone, but in gardens, alleys, markets, old buildings and public spaces to connect the dialogue between the city and people.

ครั้งหนึ่งในการเยี่ยมชมงาน Bangkok Design Week 2026 ผมได้มีโอกาสเดินสำรวจบริเวณย่านบางลำพูและเจริญกรุงอย่างละเอียด ซึ่งเป็นย่านเก่าแก่ที่เต็มไปด้วยกลิ่นอายของประวัติศาสตร์และชีวิตความเป็นชุมชน การที่งานออกแบบต่าง ๆ ถูกนำเสนอในลักษณะการกระจายตัวตามสถานที่ต่าง ๆ เช่น สวนสันติชัยปราการ บ้านไกรจิตติ ถนนข้าวสาร และอาคารไปรษณีย์กลาง ถนนเจริญกรุง ทำให้รู้สึกเหมือนได้เข้าไปสัมผัสเรื่องราวของเมืองอย่างใกล้ชิด ไม่ใช่แค่เพียงดูงานในห้องแสดงนิทรรศการเหมือนงานออกแบบทั่วไป ธีม DESIGN S/O/S ในครั้งนี้ไม่ได้หมายถึงการเตือนภัย แต่เปรียบเสมือนสัญญาณที่เมืองส่งมา การออกแบบจึงถูกใช้เป็นเครื่องมือสำคัญที่ส่งเสริมการอยู่ร่วมของผู้คน สถาปัตยกรรม และสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างกลมกลืน โดยผลงานต่าง ๆ นำเสนอแนวคิดที่ครอบคลุมทั้งด้านความยั่งยืน การยกระดับชุมชน และการฟื้นฟูมรดกทางวัฒนธรรม หนึ่งในสิ่งที่ประทับใจมากคือการจัดแสดงงานในสถานที่จริงที่ยังคงบรรยากาศแบบเก่า อย่าง River City Bangkok ที่มักถูกมองเป็นศูนย์รวมด้านศิลปะ และ ICONSIAM ที่ผสมผสานความทันสมัยเข้ากับพื้นที่สาธารณะ เหล่านี้ช่วยเพิ่มมิติให้กับการรับชมงาน ทำให้เราเข้าใจและเชื่อมโยงกับเมืองได้อย่างลึกซึ้ง นอกจากนี้การได้เดินผ่านตรอกซอยและพื้นที่สาธารณะที่มีงานออกแบบผสมผสานอย่างลงตัว ยังทำให้รู้สึกถึงการเคลื่อนไหวของเมืองที่สดใสขึ้น และเพลงบรรเลงสด ๆ ในบางจุดเช่นสวนสันติชัยปราการ ยิ่งช่วยเติมเต็มประสบการณ์การเที่ยวชมงานให้สมบูรณ์ยิ่งขึ้น ช่วงเวลาที่ดีที่สุดในการเยี่ยมชมคืองานจัดแสดงไปจนถึงวันที่ 8 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 ซึ่งเหมาะสำหรับผู้ที่ชอบงานออกแบบ กลุ่มคนรักศิลปะ รวมถึงผู้ที่อยากเรียนรู้วิถีชีวิตและพัฒนาการของเมืองผ่านมุมมองศิลปินและนักออกแบบรุ่นใหม่ งานนี้จึงเป็นโอกาสที่ดีที่จะได้เห็นภาพรวมของการพัฒนาเมืองกรุงเทพฯ ที่ยั่งยืน ผ่านการเชื่อมโยงของพื้นที่และการใช้ศิลปะเป็นภาษากลาง นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งประสบการณ์ที่สมควรบันทึกไว้ในความทรงจำถ้าได้มาเยือนในช่วงนี้
