All You Leave Behind
When our prosperity, garbage and traces become the world's last legacy, "All You Leave Behind," an exhibition that invites us to explore the human landscape of the Anthropocene era by artist Anon Proud.
Anthropocene is a concept used to describe an age in which humans became the dominant force to change the Earth, from ecosystems, climate to the Earth's own geosphere as a result of the Industrial Revolution, the use of fossil fuels, urbanization, and consumerism that pushed resources beyond natural boundaries, resulting in a world filled with human traces of global warming, the extinction of organisms, and the emergence of new matter like plastic or industrial waste that lasted beyond human life, that could no longer separate nature from the traces of civilization.
"All You Leave Behind" stems from questioning the destination of human civilization in the Anthropocene era. Artists do not view the end of the world as a sudden event, if it is a gradual process that humans are engaging in every day through the production, consumption and disposal of waste.
The artist presents the story of the post-human world through a collocation art made of 1,000 kilograms of sand ash powder, which comes from incineration, forged to recycle waste. The artist models the post-collapse world of man into a "new star" covered by a wide gray desert, filled with human footprints, which constantly collapse and restore. In addition, some waste incineration residues are transformed into painting works, serving as dark cave walls, guided by phototherapy, like archaeologists of the next century, who are exploring the materiality of human civilization, which has been lost.
"All You Leave Behind" invites us to question the cost of comfort, prosperity and development, how what we have today is leaving something for the world in the days ahead, and when it comes to human absence, what is left of all you leave Behind will tell us.

นิทรรศการ "All You Leave Behind" ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นการนำเสนอผลงานศิลปะที่งดงามและมีความหมายลึกซึ้งเท่านั้น แต่มันยังเป็นการปลุกจิตสำนึกให้กับผู้ชมได้ตระหนักถึงผลกระทบของการบริโภคและขยะที่มนุษย์ทิ้งไว้ในโลกนี้อย่างแท้จริง จากประสบการณ์ที่ได้ไปเยี่ยมชมพื้นที่จัดแสดง ผมรู้สึกถึงความเงียบสงบและความเวิ้งว้างของทะเลทรายสีเทาที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นจากผงเถ้าขยะรีไซเคิล 1,000 กิโลกรัม ซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของโลกหลังมนุษย์ อันเต็มไปด้วยร่องรอยที่มนุษย์ทิ้งไว้ไม่ว่าจะเป็นขยะหรือสิ่งสกปรกต่างๆ ที่จะอยู่กับโลกเราต่อไปอย่างยาวนาน อีกสิ่งที่น่าประทับใจคือการใช้กากเถ้าขยะมาสร้างงานจิตรกรรมที่ทำหน้าที่เป็นผนังถ้ำมืด พร้อมกับแสงไฟจากหุ่นยนต์ที่นำทางให้เหมือนกับนักโบราณคดี ที่กำลังขุดค้นวัตถุทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่มนุษย์ทิ้งไว้ แนวคิดนี้ทำให้ผมได้คิดถึงอนาคตที่อาจไม่มีมนุษย์อยู่บนโลกนี้ แต่ร่องรอยทั้งหมดจะเป็นหลักฐานที่บอกเล่าเรื่องราวของเรา นิทรรศการนี้จึงเหมือนการเชื้อเชิญให้เราทบทวนเกี่ยวกับการใช้ชีวิตของตัวเองและผลกระทบต่อโลก ไม่ใช่แค่การชมศิลปะ แต่เป็นการร่วมสำนึกถึงความรับผิดชอบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและโลกที่เราอาศัยอยู่ โดยรวมแล้ว "All You Leave Behind" เป็นนิทรรศการที่ดีมากสำหรับทุกคนที่สนใจเรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อม ศิลปะ และสังคม ซึ่งจัดแสดงฟรีที่ VS Gallery ในซอยนราธิวาส 22 กรุงเทพฯ ถึงวันที่ 21 กันยายน 2569 เปิดให้เข้าชมวันพุธถึงอาทิตย์ เวลา 12.00-18.00 น. พร้อมที่จอดรถสะดวกสบาย แนะนำให้ไปชมด้วยตนเองเพื่อสัมผัสประสบการณ์และแรงบันดาลใจนี้ด้วยใจจริง
