Falling for ART
"Falling for ART," an exhibition that invites the identities of 18 artists through their personal work, memories and the stories behind their creations before we fall in love with their work.
The exhibition "Falling for ART" begins with the simple idea that the audience often begins to relate to the artwork from the artist's vision, technique, beauty, or craftsmanship, but what is behind it is the experience, memory, and identity of the creator. If before appreciating the artwork, do we first know the identity of the artist "?
So this exhibition is like the first conversation between an artist and an audience that takes the audience back to the beginning of getting to know each other through meaningful works for each artist. These act like the "first greetings" that the artist sends to the audience before we get to know them through other future contexts.
Inside the exhibition is a collection of the work of 18 artists, who have different working approaches and perspectives towards the arts, including: Thievich Phuphra, BOBBY LEASH, Ruthra Ruji Conservation, Nutthanya Mug Jasmine Division, Nim Nimchan, BYME, AITOY, SAUCE HARRISON, Thed Honour Wangwachrakul, Mathisha Pong Pong, POON AMORNCHORN, Jirayun Tan Clan, Niam Mahayun, Thanwa Naupang, Tad Nutthir, Mr Grayan with friends Georges, Chai Sirathinasit and Sirasit.
Bringing together the work of a variety of artists, the exhibition space becomes a conversation space that gives the audience the opportunity to see both the style, concept and life experiences of each artist. The exhibition not only presents the artwork, but also invites the audience to understand how each artwork emerges from the life and identity of its creator.
Let's explore the first dialogue between artists and audiences through the personal work of the 18 artists at the "Falling for ART" exhibition, because perhaps getting to know the identity of an artist can be the beginning of truly falling in love with art and giving us a deeper view of the meaning of art.
