"Here Lies Bittersweet Poetry," an exhibition and showcase of roses "irrevocability concept menswear cases by FEWK, conveying stories of time, memory, and release through clothing, layout work, and photos from the Early Year 2026 series.
The exhibition is initiated from the concept of "accepting" unavoidable change, using roses as a representation of time and memory, through bringing roses to the eye and observing 6 months-long changes, from fading to decay to crisp dry, these processes are not degeneracy, but the revelation of the truth that everything is changing and irreversible.
The concept is translated into the language of fashion, through materials, textures, and structures; clothes do not conceal traces of use, but emphasize colors that fade down, skin that changes, and form that unravels from perfection, becoming a record of the passage of time that appears on the piece.
In the creative process, the transformation of the rose is capped into techniques on the fabric, both sun bleaching, creating traces through the mold, and natural dyeing that the more faded the use. At the same time, the shape of the withered rose is also translated into the structure of the garment, through twisting, wrinkling, and rearranging it to form dimensions and motion.
The exhibition also extends the narrative beyond clothing, through the art of layout, fragrance scents, photographs, and poetry, that together convey the relationship between man and loss, all of which makes work not just a fashion, but an experience that takes us face to face with the truth of life, that beauty lies not in perpetuation, but in the acceptance that everything is changing.
And sometimes... the most beautiful thing can be when it's fading.
