"JOEL MESLER THE EXPERIENCE," an immersive art experience that turns letters, colors, and emotions into a space for us to "feel" again. By Joel Mesler
Joel Mesler, a uniquely New York-based contemporary artist, stands out for his use of "text" (text-based painting) mixed with fresh colors, arrangements and graphic elements; his works are often short sentences that seem simple but lurk with emotion, fragility, and personal memories.
The exhibition "JOEL MESLER THE EXPERIENCE" began as the idea of turning "inner experience" into "outer space," from painting on canvas to expanding into an installation and immersive environment where the audience can actually walk into it, making "text" not just something that is read, but something that we get into it.
Inside the exhibition are a variety of experiences, from the Immersive Art Experience that combines the artist's signature work to "Jo's Playground" and the Interactive Balloon Installation that allow the audience to engage in collaborative creation, while Central Chidlom's Façade is transformed into an Art Landmark with Light Up at night.
There's also Exclusive Pop-up, a limited collection open to personalization and Art & Lifestyle Café Experience that extends art to lifestyle; through a gelato and wine menu in designs inspired by the artist's work.
