Lightscape - Explore the Landscape Through "Light" in a New Perspective
"Lightscape" explores the landscape through "light" in a new perspective by the right to subdue Ripu.
This exhibition is based on the concept of the perpetual motion of natural light, or the continuous movement of light in nature, whether it is light that hits the surface of the water and then shatters, light that reflects on the ice, light that passes through the leaves, or light that seeps into the sand. These are not conveyed as a straightforward "view," but translated into the experience of the light that occurs on the work.
The work in this exhibition combines "cracked glass" from ancient Thai art and contemporary oil painting. The stained glass is cut into small pieces and laid out to represent particles of light, while oil fills in the detail, deep softness and atmosphere of nature, giving the image both the hardness of the material and the softness of the painting in the same area. This approach is also linked to the Impressionism way of thinking that values the atmosphere and the sense of light rather than the realism of the shape.
The appeal of "Lightscape" is that it is different from a typical landscape work because the image does not stop on the canvas, but changes with the actual lighting conditions in the area. Each mirror reflects and refracts differently according to our perspective, allowing the same image to provide a unique experience at different times. Vision is not only a viewing of what the artist creates, but a process in which the audience is involved in making the image happen.
"Lightscape" also invites us to see the beauty of light as something that is constantly changing and to question our perception of whether what we see is the same image when everything depends on the rhythm of our light and perspective.

ในฐานะคนที่ได้มีโอกาสเยี่ยมชมนิทรรศการ Lightscape แล้ว ผมรู้สึกว่าการใช้แสงเป็นตัวกลางในการเล่าเรื่องภูมิทัศน์ ทำให้ผลงานศิลปะนี้ไม่เหมือนใครเลยครับ ความพิเศษอยู่ที่การผสมผสานระหว่างกระจกเกรียบแบบไทยโบราณซึ่งถูกตัดเป็นชิ้นเล็ก ๆ ทำหน้าที่แทนอนุภาคของแสง กับการวาดภาพสีน้ำมันร่วมสมัยที่เพิ่มความลึกและบรรยากาศของธรรมชาติให้กับภาพ นอกจากจะได้ชมภาพที่งดงามแล้ว เรายังได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์แสงที่เปลี่ยนแปลงตามมุมมองและช่วงเวลาจริง ซึ่งไม่ได้มีแค่ความสวยงามเชิงศิลปะแต่ยังเชื่อมโยงกับความรู้สึกและการรับรู้ของแต่ละคนได้อย่างลึกซึ้ง สิ่งที่ผมประทับใจมากคือความรู้สึกเหมือนได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของงานศิลปะ เพราะแสงที่สะท้อนและหักเหผ่านกระจกสีแต่ละชิ้นทำให้ภาพมีชีวิตเปลี่ยนไปตลอดเวลา เมื่อลองขยับตัวหรือเปลี่ยนมุมมอง ตัวงานก็เหมือนกับการเล่าเรื่องใหม่ให้เราได้ฟัง เรื่องราวของแสงที่เคลื่อนไหวไม่หยุดนิ่งนี้ช่วยให้ผมมองภูมิทัศน์ธรรมชาติได้แตกต่างออกไป จากที่เคยเห็นแค่ภาพได้กลายเป็นการสัมผัสประสบการณ์ทางสายตาและจิตใจอย่างเต็มเปี่ยม นอกจากนี้ Lightscape ยังทำให้ผมได้สำรวจความงามในรายละเอียดของธรรมชาติที่ปกติอาจมองข้าม เรายังได้ตั้งคำถามกับการรับรู้ของตัวเองว่า สิ่งที่เห็นนั้นเป็นจริงหรือถูกตีความผ่านแสงและมุมมองของเราหรือเปล่า เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการคิดลึกขึ้นเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างธรรมชาติและศิลปะที่น่าประทับใจจริง ๆ ใครที่สนใจงานศิลปะแบบสัมผัสได้และอยากเปิดมุมมองใหม่เรื่องแสงกับธรรมชาติ ไม่ควรพลาดนิทรรศการนี้เลยครับ โดยเฉพาะถ้ามาช่วงที่มีแสงธรรมชาติส่องผ่านอย่างเหมาะสม รับรองว่าประสบการณ์นี้จะตราตรึงใจไม่รู้ลืม
