When an artist who "never was chosen" gets up to tell his own story, "# Heartbroken, invite this way"An exhibition that turns the frustrations, rejections and struggles of artists into a questioning space for the contemporary art system.
This exhibition stems from the idea that artistic work should not only be the prerogative of those who are certified by the system, but the fundamental right of those who remain creative, even under insecurity, lack of space, or being pushed out of the public eye, so that each artist uses his or her work as a tool to reflect the real experience of living as a human being, a creative worker, and one who seeks to preserve his or her own space.
This exhibition is not talking about heartbreak in a relational way, it is talking about the "fragility" of being an artist in a world where opportunity, visibility and acceptance, are constantly defined through institutional mechanisms, selection and competition.
Within the exhibition, we will find a variety of works linked through the subject of confirmation of the existence, both the "Un-Seen" of the Conservation of the Descent, which questions the time of the urban and rural people, the "Rebound Practice" of the Sunney Rung, which likens weight loss to the effort of art, the "Appreciation" of the Science of Chai Auspicious, which speaks to the provision of new life through recycled materials, and the "Alienation" of Mariya Chai, which reflects the non-part of Muslim women.
At the same time, Kshen Bhindar's "Life's Postscript" talks about the cycle of life, death and rebirth, Nutan Buloy's "Hukpool Villa Project" turns the rest area into a safe space for artists, "the wind, sunshine and memory garden" of Aarvint Krai uses nature as an area of healing, and Primate Panda's "Prototype D-0.4" uses synthetic robots as a representation of Thai society that is mired under an unequal power structure.
The interesting thing is that artists do not hide their own failures or wounds, but instead use them as the beginning of a new dialogue about living, struggling, and keeping their dreams in a competitive world.
And perhaps what this exhibition is reviewing is not just the question of "who is a successful artist," but the question of how many people are creating work in silence without seeing them.
