"The Beauty of Time," an Exhibition That Invites Us to Explore Time as a Force of the Universe, Through Art, Philosophy, Buddhism, Astronomy, and Physics by Chitti Paradise
"The Beauty of Time" is the second series of works in the trilogy project "Interdisciplinary Art on the Matter of Time: The Individual Chapter" that the artist developed based on long-term research on "time" in a dimension more complex than counting days or the transition of life, but rather looking at time as the dynamics of the forces, relationships, and existence of all things in the universe.
The exhibition began as a study of the northern parts of Southeast Asia, particularly the Taikadai, the Luwa, and the indigenous communities on the mountains, that still have different ways of thinking about time, belief, and its relationship to nature than the modern world, before combining these bodies of knowledge with the concepts of philosophy, Buddhism, astronomy, and physics to explore how "time" may not be a straight line, but a wave of waves in which everything constantly influences each other.
Within the exhibition, the audience will find works that connect images, sounds, memories, and dimensions of perception to explore "what was / is happening / is coming," through the concept of diffraction, or wave diffraction, that explain that all things are so interrelated that they are inseparable.
